Is there a FITS images processor/converter software for OS/2 ? Please answer also by e-mail. In the user's guide the catalog includes Microsoft Fortran and Lahey Fortran. Currently we don't have any PC Fortran compiler but we are going to purchase one that could easily be used to compile the FITSIO routines. Is it possible to call the FITSIO routines from C programs in PC using suitable C and Fortran Complilers? -- Heikki Pollari University of Helsinki ______________________________________________________________________________ | Heikki.Pollari at helsinki.fi | | | t. +358-0-191 2910 | o _____________ | /\_ _| | | äÄö _\__`[_____________| | ] [ \, ][ ][ | From fitsbits-request Sun Apr 30 11:38:53 1995 X-VM-v5-Data: ([nil nil nil nil nil nil nil nil nil] ["1250" "Fri" "28" "April" "1995" "13:39:29" "GMT" "Dominique Beauchamp" "beaucham at act.ulaval.ca" nil "40" "Re: FITS for OS/2: Newest viewer, Is there a FIT" "^From:" nil nil "4" nil nil (number " " mark " Dominique Beaucha Apr 28 40/1250 " thread-indent "\"Re: FITS for OS/2: Newest viewer, Is there a FIT\"\n") nil] nil) Received: by fits.cv.nrao.edu (4.1/DDN-CV/1.8) id AA26880; Sun, 30 Apr 95 11:38:53 EDT Return-Path: Message-Id: Organization: Sun Microsystems, Inc. I am the author of ViewFITS for OS/2. I "think" the latest version is 0.4 (last spring) and I have not worked on since that time. I sent the code to a German (Herr Christophe Veber, cveber at physik.uni-osnabrueck.de) who should be now working on the program. So, if you want to know more, you should contact him. I hope for you OS/2 is more popular in Germany than it is in Quebec... Using Windows 3.1 is a pain ...
