Euro3D: A Data Standard for 3D Spectroscopy
-
Description:
Euro3D is an interchange data format for integral field spectroscopy
in which 1-dimensional spectra are obtained at multiple positions over
a 2-dimensional spatial field of view. Each spectrum is stored as a vector
in one row of a binary table, along with other columns containing parameters
describing the spectrum (such as it's location in the 2D field).
More information about the development of this format is available
on the
Euro3D web site.
